Florence Sommerville, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Orsett, Essex, is one of the fastest-rising talents of 2024. Known for her raw, rootsy music, Florence has a captivating stage presence that belies her youth. She has recently performed at the Maverick Festival and opened for notable artists such as Hannah Bethel, Diana Jones, and Tom Robinson.

To celebrate the release of her latest single, Orsett-born country singer Florence Sommerville, along with her acclaimed band, has invited musical guests from Nashville and Essex to present a fast-moving entertaining show of modern country music to suit all ages.

Recent Highlights

• Nashville Experience: In the spring, Florence traveled to Nashville, where she co-wrote with hit country writers like Gary Burr and Victoria Shaw. She also performed at several Songwriter Rounds at venues such as the Commodore Grill and the Cambria Hotel.
• New Music: July 2023 saw the release of Florence’s digital EP – ON MY WAY followed in October by the release of a the title song Radio Single to widespread radio play across the UK and further afield.
