Jason Isbell is a singer-songwriter from Greenhill, Alabama.
Starting his music career in 2001 as a member of the rock band Drive-By Truckers, he left the band in 2007 to pursue a solo career, putting out his debut album, 'Sirens of the Ditch', later that year.
Since then, he has dropped a further eight albums to date, with the most recent being 'Weathervanes' in 2023.
