Peyton Parrish  rose to fame with his cover of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla song “My Mother Told Me”, which was featured in the TV show Vikings.

He released several EPs, such as Vaccine and Thank God for You, before launching his debut album Cowboy Man in 2020. The album showcased his unique blend of Viking-inspired themes, heavy metal, and country-pop, with songs like “Ragnarök” and “Zombie”. He continued to explore this genre fusion in his subsequent albums, such as Rise of Vikingr in 2021 and The Most Magical Album on Earth in 2023, which featured his renditions of Disney classics with a metal twist.
