Troubadour Presents: Kerri Watt with support from Jonny Morgan

Scottish solo artist and songwriter Kerri Watt is back with brand new music following her 2021 debut album “Neptune's Daughter” which garnered support from the likes of Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2 and Keith Urban. A born performer with powerhouse vocals, Kerri holds an impressive record of live gigs under her belt, from the Royal Albert Hall to The London Palladium and festival stages at Country 2 Country, Isle of Wight and Cambridge Folk Fest.

Kerri creates songs that captivate and inspire in their wise, vulnerable interpretations of the world around her - partly indebted to her songwriting inspirations Sheryl Crow and Van Morrison. Though hailing from Glasgow, she spent time in the States as a teenager, where exposure to American music heavily informed her sonic palette. There, she was introduced to a world of blues, gospel, country and folk that felt worlds away from her Scottish roots. This scrapbook of musical influences permeates her diaristic approach to songwriting - now furthered with a whole-hearted embrace of country. Kerri’s first single of 2024, ‘Predictable', kicks off what’s sure to be an inspiring year of new music, live performances and a spattering of exciting film and theatre projects for Kerri.

The ‘Bob Harris - Americana Emerging Artist of the Year 2024’ - Jonny Morgan is an Indie Singer/Songwriter with an unashamed passion for ambient and emotive soundscapes - drawing inspiration from artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Ray LaMontagne and Michael Kiwinuka.
Having journeyed across North America in 2022, Jonny returned back to London in early 2023 where he released his highly anticipated debut album ‘Good Luck With the Music’
