The Black Deer Festival of Americana and Country music has announced its first headliner for 2024: the legendary Sheryl Crow. The nine-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will grace the main stage of the festival, which takes place at Eridge Park, Kent, from June 14 to 16 2024.
Crow is one of the most successful and influential artists of her generation, with a career spanning over three decades and 11 studio albums. Her music incorporates elements of rock, pop, folk, country, and blues, and has sold over 50 million copies worldwide. Some of her most popular songs include “All I Wanna Do“, “If It Makes You Happy“, “Soak Up the Sun“, and “Picture“.
Crow has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Don Henley, and Eric Clapton. She has also performed at various prestigious events, such as the Super Bowl, the Academy Awards, and the Live 8 concert. In 2023, Crow received another milestone accolade, as she was chosen for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She has also been praised by a new generation of singer-songwriters, who have covered her songs and cited her as an inspiration.
Crow is also known for her passionate support of multiple charities, such as The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The World Food Program, Feeding America, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
