Listeners and social media followers of UK Country Music Radio station CountrylineRadio have been voting all week to choose their Ultimate Country Artist, from 32 of the biggest stars of the 90’s and 00’s.
The fun poll ran this July across the stations social media accounts and has caused some controversy amongst die hard fans!
The 90’s block
The legend that is Dolly Parton came out a clear winner from the music stars of the 20th Century.
The 00’s block
Oklahoma born Carrie Underwood came out on top beating out Lady A for the top spot in the 21st Century artist category.
In the final head to head it was close but there could only be one winner. And that was….
