Ags Connolly – Autumn Tour 2026
Ags Connolly is set to bring his Autumn Tour 2026 to The Flowerpot in Derby, continuing a short run through the Midlands and the North this November. Known for his authentic take on traditional country music, Ags has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most genuine country singer-songwriters. His career took off with the 2014 debut album “How About Now,” which garnered acclaim for carrying the “country music holy ghost,” according to the US review site Saving Country Music.
Over the years, Ags Connolly has consistently celebrated the traditional roots of country, earning accolades such as Album of the Year at the 2020 UK Country Music Awards for his third album “Wrong Again.” His latest work, “Your Pal Slim: Songs of James Hand,” released in November 2024, is a heartfelt tribute to the late Texas troubadour James Hand. Featuring collaborations with musicians who played alongside Hand, the album has been praised for its tender and tenacious interpretation of these classic songs.
Throughout his career, Ags has performed across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, sharing stages with country legends such as Rosanne Cash, Dale Watson, and Jim Lauderdale, as well as opening for contemporary figures like Charley Crockett. His steadfast dedication to traditional country music offers a refreshing counterpoint to the more pop and rock-oriented trends within the genre today.
Ags Connolly shared with fans: “Hey folks! Got a short run in the Midlands/North planned this November…don’t miss me at these spots. See ya out there!”
