Bobby Dove — Green Note, London
Doors 7pm • Show 8.30pm • All ages
Montreal-born singer‑songwriter Bobby Dove brings their magnetic blend of Country and Americana to Camden’s Green Note for a night steeped in classic honky‑tonk spirit and sharp, emotionally charged storytelling. A trans/non‑binary troubadour with a voice that carries both power and tenderness, Bobby channels the golden age of country while carving out a sound that feels unmistakably their own.
Their acclaimed 2021 album Hopeless Romantic climbed Canadian Roots and U.S. Alt‑Country charts, cementing Bobby as one of the most compelling voices on the circuit. Years of touring have taken them from major Canadian festivals to Europe’s Tivoli Vredenburg, sharing stages with Fats Kaplin, Mary Gauthier, Richard Thompson, Ray Benson and Lavender Country.

Now based in rural Manitoba, Bobby arrives in London fresh from releasing Fortune Teller (April 2026), a 13‑track collection produced by Aaron Goldstein and featuring a standout duet with Grammy‑winner Jim Lauderdale. Critics on both sides of the Atlantic praise Bobby’s ability to write “rings around all but the very best of troubadours,” and Saving Country Music hails them as a vessel for the classic country spirit we’ve been missing.
Expect a night of rich storytelling, timeless influences and songs that linger long after the last note fades.
