Jarrod Dickenson – Small Talk Tour 2026
Jarrod Dickenson, a Texas-born singer-songwriter now based in Nashville, crafts a compelling blend of Americana, folk, country, and soul that resonates deeply with audiences across the Atlantic. With a reputation built on emotive storytelling and an authentic musical approach, Dickenson has toured alongside icons like Bonnie Raitt and Don McLean, and delivered memorable performances at major festivals such as Glastonbury and Black Deer.
His Small Talk Tour 2026 marks a return to the UK for a series of intimate shows featuring acoustic arrangements that strip his music down to its essential core. This approach allows fans to experience his songs in a raw and personal setting, delivering both cherished catalogue pieces and fresh material from an upcoming, as yet unannounced project. Earlier this year, Dickenson released an acoustic EP also titled Small Talk, which aligns with the themes and style he explores on this tour.
The tour follows the release of his critically acclaimed third album, Big Talk, launched in February 2023. That album showcased some of his most direct and uncompromising songwriting to date, supported by a band of top-tier musicians and featuring collaborations with Oliver Wood and Ethan Johns. Fans of heartfelt Americana with soulful undertones, reminiscent of artists who masterfully blend roots and contemporary influences, will find much to appreciate in Dickenson’s work.
I have news!! In December, we will be headed back to the UK. Earlier this year we brought you the full-band rock and roll extravaganza tour. This time we're going the complete opposite direction. We'll be doing a series of intimate shows where we strip down to the bare necessities… musically speaking, of course. The songs will be naked, not us. We'll be performing acoustic arrangements of songs spanning my entire catalog, as well as debuting a few of the new songs from the upcoming (yet to be formally announced) new record. We're calling it The Small Talk Tour (remember that acoustic EP of the same name that I released earlier this year?). Tickets are on sale now. Snatch ‘em up. I’d be ever so grateful.
