Jim Lauderdale – Live at The Half Moon, Putney
Monday 31 August 2026 – Half Moon, Putney, London
Fresh from opening for Emmylou Harris on her UK farewell tour, Americana legend Jim Lauderdale returns to London this August for an intimate headline show at the Half Moon. It follows a run of standout appearances earlier this month that included the Royal Albert Hall and dates in Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol and Sunderland.
Before arriving in Putney, Lauderdale plays The Long Road Festival in Leicestershire on Sunday 30 August, bringing his unmistakable blend of country, bluegrass and roots songwriting to one of the UK’s biggest Americana gatherings.

A prolific and ever‑restless creative force, Lauderdale has already released two new albums this year, marking his 38th and 39th studio projects. Country Super Hits Volume 2 landed in March, two decades after the first instalment, while April saw the arrival of The Birds Know, a vibrant bluegrass collaboration with the Po’ Ramblin’ Boys.

Expect masterful storytelling, warm humour and the kind of seasoned musicianship that has made Lauderdale one of Americana’s most enduring and influential voices.
