Keep It Country 2026 – Cancelled

Keep It Country Festival has announced that its 2026 edition will not take place, citing a rapidly expanding UK country landscape and the need to protect the scale and experience the event has become known for.

In a statement titled Keep It Country 2026, organisers said the decision followed careful consideration. They noted that the growth of the country scene in recent years has brought more festivals and events than ever before, creating a crowded calendar that made it harder to deliver the festival at its usual standard.

The statement reads:
Rather than compromise on the scale and experience that Keep It Country is known for, we feel it is the right time to pause and reassess.

Organisers added that they remain proud of what the festival has achieved and thanked artists, partners and fans for their support. They stressed that this is not a permanent farewell, describing the move as a step back while they explore what the future of the festival could look like.

Refunds will be issued to all fans who purchased tickets for Keep It Country 2026, as well as for the planned Independence Day tribute show.
