Morganway – Calm Before the Studio 2026
Morganway, the dynamic six-piece band from the East of England, invite fans to experience “Morganway 93 Calm Before the Studio 2026,” a special series of intimate acoustic shows this December. This tour offers a unique glimpse into the band’s evolving sound, blending rock, folk, country, and pop with rich vocal harmonies and captivating guitar riffs.
Founded in 2016 by twin brothers Callum and Kieran Morgan, along with keyboard player Matt Brocklehurst, Morganway’s lineup includes SJ Mortimer on vocals, Nicole Terry on fiddle, and Ed Bullinger on drums. The band has carved out a reputation for a genre-defying style that draws favourable comparisons to Fleetwood Mac, holding a distinctive place within the UK music scene.
The concerts in this run are inspired by Morganway’s recent trip to New Orleans for Folk Alliance. The band is presenting these shows in a stripped-back acoustic format, which will highlight new songs, reimagined classics, and a few surprises, providing an intimate setting to hear their music like never before. This run of performances precedes the band’s January 2026 plans to record their next studio album at the legendary Rockfield Studios.
Morganway’s third album, Kill The Silence, released on 31 January 2025, showcases their expanding blend of Americana, country, rock, and soul. Recorded live at Foel Studios in Wales, the album features the depth and vitality their fans have come to appreciate.
The Louisiana, Bristol
The band’s Bristol stop is at The Louisiana, an independent live music venue set above a historic seafarers’ pub. Known for presenting live bands nightly in its cosy, wood-floored room, The Louisiana offers an ideal atmosphere for Morganway’s intimate acoustic set. The venue’s character and warmth will perfectly suit this special pre-studio showcase, giving fans an up-close experience in a uniquely inviting setting.
