Roots N’ Boots Country Music Festival

Weymouth is turning into the Wild West Country this summer as Roots N’ Boots brings a brand new all day country festival to the Dorset coast. From the moment the gates open at 1pm, the site fills with live music, family fun and that easygoing festival spirit that makes a summer Saturday feel like a little holiday of its own.

A fantastic artist line up will be announced very soon, followed by a late afternoon Country DJ set to keep the party rolling. Across the festival field you’ll find Wild West fun fair games, a bucking bronco rodeo bull, cornhole lanes and axe throwing, plus a wild west bouncy castle for the kids. Line dancing workshops run throughout the day, led by Funky Sole Line Dancing Club, finalists at the 2025 UK Line Dancing Awards in multiple categories.

Families are well looked after with a Taylor Swift dance party for kids, glitter tattoos and cowboy hat decorating crafts. Grown ups can browse the cowboy and cowgirl hat shop and other country clothing stalls before heading to the Texas style BBQ or choosing their moonshine at the well stocked outdoor Saloon Bar.

Feeling brave? The festival’s Hot Wing Challenge is open to anyone bold enough to take it on. More activities and surprises will be added as the date approaches, and a special Cowboy Village camping area is coming soon with very limited overnight pitches.
