Sizzlefest returns to Southampton in September 2027, bringing together serious BBQ, live-fire cooking and a healthy helping of country music for two days of food, music and Southern-inspired entertainment.

Billing itself as “the South’s original community BBQ festival”, Sizzlefest combines some of the UK’s leading BBQ talent and food vendors with a live music programme that has developed a strong country flavour.

The 2027 music line-up is still to be announced, but country fans have good reason to keep Sizzlefest on their radar. The 2026 festival featured UK country artists including Katy Hurt, Roisin O’Hagan and Taynee Lord, alongside Harmony Milne, Jake O’Neill, T-Bone Marmaduke, Annie Hayes and the Alan Finlan Band. The weekend also included Southern Steps line dancing and DJ sets, adding to the festival’s country atmosphere.

Food remains at the heart of Sizzlefest, with BBQ demonstrations, competitions and live-fire cooking running alongside the entertainment. In 2026 that included everything from Texas-style brisket and BBQ masterclasses to Argentine cooking, making the event feel as much like a celebration of BBQ culture as a conventional food festival.

Following what organisers describe as an incredible 2026 event, Sizzlefest 2027 promises to be bigger and better, with returning favourites joined by new food vendors and performers.
