The Dunwells Autumn Tour 2026
The Dunwells, a British band renowned for weaving together rock, folk, pop, and country influences, embark on their Autumn Tour 2026 with a stop at The Folklore Rooms in Brighton. Since their formation in 2009 in Leeds by brothers Joseph and David Dunwell, supported by Adam Taylor and Rob Clayton, they have attracted a dedicated following through their harmonious vocals, memorable melodies, and sincere lyrics.
Emerging from local pub gigs to international stages, The Dunwells' journey into country music began in 2011 at the Folk Alliance Conference in Memphis, where they connected with producer John Porter. This collaboration led to their debut album, Blind Sighted Faith, recorded in Austin, Texas, and praised for its rich blend of folk-rock and Americana. Over the years, they have toured extensively, sharing stages with established acts such as Bryan Adams and Zac Brown Band, and gracing festivals including South by Southwest and Glastonbury.
Their sound has evolved with experimentation across genres, yet always honoring their acoustic roots. The 2020 album Something in the Water marks a return to country influences inspired by their travels through America’s musical heartlands. Tracks like "Army of Kings" and "See You Soon" showcase their optimistic and heartfelt songwriting embraced by fans.
Part of The Dunwells Autumn Tour 2026, their Brighton performance is one of many dates where the band is connecting with audiences across the UK. As they stated, "We are really excited to be playing so many shows over the autumn and winter. Can’t wait to see you."
