Willow Avalon brings her Pink Pocket Pistol Tour to the UK for a single, luminous night at Union Chapel – a venue whose warm acoustics and candlelit arches feel tailor‑made for an artist who blends Southern grit with analogue‑era charm. Fresh from releasing her acclaimed sophomore album Pink Pocket Pistol, Avalon arrives in London at the height of a creative surge, carrying new songs that brim with sharp wit, feminist fire, and the unmistakable pulse of classic country storytelling.

Critics have been quick to underline her rise. Country Central praises her instinct for songs “ripe with the lifeblood of country music,” while The Arts Desk celebrates an album “full of feminist fun and lethal put‑downs.” Holler notes her “much needed breath of analogue‑era charm,” a quality that has become central to her appeal: modern, mischievous, and steeped in tradition without ever being confined by it.

Born in Georgia and raised by her mother and grandmother, Avalon’s musical beginnings were shaped by church piano, self‑taught guitar, and a childhood spent turning life’s sharp corners into songs. Her debut, Southern Belle Raisin’ Hell, marked her as one of Nashville’s most compelling new voices, a storyteller who threads Americana, classic country, and pop influences into something unmistakably her own. Since then she has stepped onto some of the world’s biggest stages – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, CBS Mornings, the Grand Ole Opry – and lit up festivals from Stagecoach to C2C and Lollapalooza.

Her new album features collaborations with Kaitlin Butts, Midland, and Jason Isbell, and includes Work To Do, a fan favourite she performed during her sold‑out UK run earlier this year. Onstage, Avalon’s presence is electric: rebellious, warm, and wickedly funny. She has shared the spotlight with Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Zach Bryan, Cage the Elephant, Paul Cauthen, and Charles Wesley Godwin, building a reputation as a modern Southern storyteller with global reach and a fiercely loyal audience.

Union Chapel’s November date is her only UK stop on the 2026 European tour – a rare chance to see Avalon in an intimate setting before she returns to larger stages across the continent. Tickets go on sale Friday 31 July at 10am local time.
