Aaron Goodvin, a Canadian-American country music singer and songwriter, has been making waves in the music industry since 2016. Born in Spirit River, Alberta, Canada, Goodvin's passion for music ignited when he won a singing competition at a local shopping mall at the tender age of 12. His family later moved to St. Albert, Alberta, where his musical journey continued to flourish. At 25, he packed his dreams and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, the heart of country music, to chase his aspirations.
Goodvin's talent extends beyond performing. He made his mark as a songwriter, contributing to Luke Bryan's 2013 album Crash My Party with the track "Out Like That". His mentor, Scottish-Canadian country singer Johnny Reid, recognized his potential and even enlisted him as an opening act. In April 2016, Goodvin signed a contract with Warner Music Canada, leading to the release of his self-titled debut album. This album yielded three entries on the Billboard Canada Country charts, including the double platinum-certified hit "Lonely Drum". His subsequent album, V, released in 2019, garnered critical acclaim and received a Juno Award nomination for Country Album of the Year .
In recent years, Goodvin's star has continued to rise. He signed an American record deal with Reviver Records and released the single "You Ain't" featuring Meghan Patrick.
