Ashley Campbell is an American country singer-songwriter and musician. She is also the daughter of the late Glen Campbell, a country music legend who sold over 50 million records and won multiple Grammy awards. Ashley followed in her father's footsteps and pursued a career in music, playing the banjo, guitar, keyboards, and bass. She also has a beautiful voice and a knack for storytelling.
Ashley started her musical journey by playing the banjo for her father during his farewell tour in 2011 and 2012, after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She also appeared in the video for Rascal Flatts' 2012 single "Banjo". She released her debut single "Remembering" in 2015, which was inspired by her father and his struggles with the disease. The song was featured on the soundtrack of the documentary Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me, which chronicled his final tour and his battle with Alzheimer's. The song received critical acclaim and reached No. 55 on the US Country Airplay chart.
Ashley released her debut album The Lonely One in 2018, which featured 13 original songs that showcased her versatility and talent. The album reached the top 20 on the iTunes UK Country Charts and received a 5-star review from Maverick Music Magazine. She also performed at some of the biggest festivals and venues in the UK, such as Glastonbury, The Oast House, and The Anthologist. She is currently working on new music and touring.
