BJ Barham

BJ Barham is a singer-songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina, who is best known for fronting the alternative country band American Aquarium. He started the band in 2006, and has released seven albums with them, including the critically acclaimed Burn. Flicker. Die. in 2012, which was produced by Jason Isbell. He also released his debut solo album, Rockingham, in 2016, which featured songs inspired by his hometown and rural life.
Barham is known for his honest, sincere, and often heartbreaking lyrics, as well as his passionate live performances. He has addressed topics such as depression, suicide, addiction, and love in his songs, drawing comparisons to Bruce Springsteen, Whiskeytown, and Lucero
