Calum MacPhail

Calum MacPhail, a talented Scottish musician, has successfully bridged the gap between traditional folk and contemporary country music. Raised in the rich cultural traditions of the Highlands, Calum began his musical journey at an early age, learning the accordion and developing his unique sound. In 2014, he co-founded the trad folk band Hò-rò, gaining recognition and winning the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards Up & Coming Band of the Year in 2017. His commitment to mental health support is evident in his work, with his song "7 Years Old" raising significant funds for Mikeysline, an Inverness-based suicide prevention hotline.

His involvement with Highland Fire Ceilidh, a renowned wedding and function band, further showcases his versatility on stage.
