In 1995, she moved to Nashville to immerse herself in the vibrant music scene, where she quickly made her mark with her debut album, Let Me Out Here. The title track won first place in the 2003 International Songwriting Contest and was featured in the HBO series Big Love. Cindy's heartfelt lyrics and soulful performances have earned her accolades, including the West Coast Songwriting Association's Best Song award in 2010 for Alabama Bliss.

Beyond her solo career, Cindy has been a driving force in the music community, founding and hosting the long-running Girls With Guitars songwriter nights in Nashville. This platform became a launchpad for emerging talent, showcasing artists who later achieved major label contracts and publishing deals. After 14 years in Nashville, Cindy returned to California, where she formed the band The Lucky Ducks before resuming her solo endeavors.
