Clint Black is a country music star who has been making hits since the 1980s. He was born in New Jersey in 1962 and moved to Texas with his family when he was one year old. He taught himself to play harmonica and guitar and started writing songs at a young age.
He joined his brothers' band and performed at local events until he got his big break in 1989, when he signed with RCA Nashville and released his debut album Killin' Time, which spawned four number one singles on the country charts. Since then, he has released 12 more albums and has had more than 30 singles on the country charts, including "Nothin' but the Taillights", "A Bad Goodbye", "Still Holding On" and "When I Said I Do".
He has also won several awards, including four Grammy nominations and one Grammy win for his collaboration with Roy Rogers on "Hold On Partner". He is also an actor who has appeared in TV shows like Wings and Maverick, and movies like Anger Management and Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.
He is married to Lisa Hartman, whom he met in 1991, and they have a daughter named Lily Pearl. He is known for his trademark black cowboy hat and his smile.
