Cory Marks, born in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, is a country rock singer-songwriter known for his unique blend of country and hard rock. Raised in a hockey-loving town, Marks initially pursued a career in hockey and even played university hockey at the Royal Military College of Canada. However, his passion for music, influenced by artists like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, and Ozzy Osbourne, eventually led him to the stage. He began performing publicly in college, encouraged by friends, and adopted the stage name Cory Marks.

Marks released his debut album, "This Man," in 2015 under Big Star Recordings, featuring singles like "Smartphone" and "21." His breakthrough came with the release of his second album, "Who I Am," in 2020 under Better Noise Music, which included the hit single "Outlaws & Outsiders" featuring Ivan Moody, Travis Tritt, and Mick Mars. The song achieved significant success, reaching top positions on various charts and earning certifications in multiple countries. Marks' music is known for its relatable and honest storytelling, often reflecting his personal experiences and emotions.

Continuing to evolve as an artist, Marks released his third album, "Sorry for Nothing," in 2024, further solidifying his place in the country rock genre. He has also achieved his private pilot license, adding another layer to his multifaceted personality.
