Danni Nicholls is a British-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter whose soulful blend of Americana, folk, and roots music has earned acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. Raised in Bedfordshire, England, she was deeply influenced by the American roots music of her Anglo-Indian grandmother's record collection. At 16, she inherited a 1963 Burns London shortscale electric jazz guitar from her uncle, which is rumoured to have once belonged to English rock and roll artist Billy Fury. This guitar became her gateway to songwriting and performing.
Over the past decade, Nicholls has built a loyal fan base and received critical praise, including three consecutive Americana Music Association UK award nominations in 2017, 2018, and 2020. She has toured extensively, opening for artists such as Shakin' Stevens, Lucinda Williams, and The Secret Sisters. Her performances are known for their passionate delivery and captivating voice.
