DJ Trukka
DJ
DJ Trukka began his DJ career during the line dance boom in the late 90s. While teaching line dances for other DJs he gradually began to expand his Country music knowledge and started his own classes. Here he would play the current new dances alongside old favourites.
During the early 2000s DJ Trukka was asked to guest DJ at the UK's only purpose built honky tonk Fort San Antone, based near to Lytham-St-Annes in the north west of England.
Since then he has also continued to do one off events with live artists as well as many of the UK Country music festivals including the former FSA Fest (now BCMA Fan Fest) in Newark.
In 2020 when the Country 2 Country festival at The O2 Arena was cancelled at the last minute DJ Trukka stepped in to perform at The Observatory pub. This then led to him being invited back in 2022 to host the unofficial 'Alternative Afterparties'. An invitation which has already been extended to 2023.
As well as Country music events DJ Trukka has a well versed knowledge of other musical genres and has also performed at birthday parties and weddings playing open format sets.
DJ Trukka is now available to hire for Country music events, festivals and private events (Country and open format).
