Flatland Cavalry is a vibrant country and Americana band hailing from Lubbock, Texas. Formed in 2012, the band's original lineup consisted of Cleto Cordero (vocalist), Jason Albers (drummer), Jonathan Saenz (bassist), Reid Dillon (guitarist), and Laura Jane (violinist). The group quickly made a name for themselves with their heartfelt lyrics and traditional country instrumentation, capturing the essence of their West Texas roots. Their music is a blend of toe-tapping rhythms and melodies that resonate with fans of classic country and modern Americana alike.

Over the years, Flatland Cavalry has seen some changes in its lineup, with Wesley Hall replacing Laura Jane on the fiddle in 2018. The band's discography includes their debut EP "Come May" released in 2015, followed by their first full-length album "Humble Folks" in 2016, which garnered positive reviews and charted on Billboard's Americana/Folk albums chart. Their second studio album, "Homeland Insecurity," was released in 2019, further solidifying their place in the country music scene.

The band's third album, "Welcome to Countryland," marks a significant milestone in their career, showcasing a sonically expansive and wistfully written collection of songs. Recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studio A with producer Jake Gear, the album reflects the band's growth and willingness to explore new territories while staying true to their signature sound.
