Half a Chance is a husband and wife Americana duo residing in the southwest of the UK. Hailing from two different countries - Peter Dixon from Britain and Joey Clarkson from Canada - the pair brings a unique blend of musical backgrounds and experiences to their sound.
Prior to forming Half a Chance, Peter served as a Saxophonist in the Band of the Scots Guards and played bass guitar for The Blue Highways, bringing a wealth of training and performance experience to the new duo. Joey, meanwhile, has established herself as a singer/songwriter with over 17 years of releasing music that has been featured on programs such as London Live TV, CBC and BBC Radio.
The duo recently entered the studio with British producer Tyler Spicer to record their debut single, which is set for release this Autumn. As they continue to work on new music, they also look forward to being featured in an episode of BBC's Escape to the Country later this year!
With their infectious melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and undeniable chemistry, this dynamic duo is one to keep an eye on.
