Harry Tonks is a singer/songwriter based in Liverpool, England. He plays guitar and piano and writes his own songs, influenced by artists like Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, and Ed Sheeran. He has a unique and powerful voice that can express a range of emotions, from joy to sorrow. He sings about his personal struggles, as well as his hopes and dreams.
Harry started playing guitar when he was 10 years old and joined cover bands when he was 11. He began writing his own songs when he was 15 and uploaded them to YouTube and SoundCloud. He gained a loyal fan base who loved his catchy and heartfelt songs. He also received positive feedback from BBC Introducing, who played his songs on the radio.
Harry released his debut album, Over the Water, in 2020, which featured 10 original songs that showcased his versatility and talent. The album reached the top 20 on the iTunes UK Country Charts and won him the Best New Artist award at the UK Country Music Awards in 2021. He also performed at some of the biggest festivals and venues in the country, such as Glastonbury, The Oast House, and The Anthologist.
