Hayley Payne is an American singer-songwriter from Owensboro, Kentucky, known for her authentic and vivacious country music style. From a young age, she was captivated by country music's storytelling and relatability, writing her first song at nine. After earning a degree in songwriting from Middle Tennessee State University in 2021, she relocated to Nashville to pursue her music career.
In September 2025, Hayley released her most personal project to date, 'Cheatin’ Songs,' a seven-track album that delves into themes of betrayal and heartbreak with a blend of pain, confusion, lightheartedness, and humour. The album was celebrated with a debut headlining show in Nashville at Analog, where she sold over 140 tickets to the intimate event.
Hayley has performed at notable venues such as RodeoHouston, the Key West Songwriters Festival, and the legendary Bluebird Cafe. She has opened for country music icons including Lee Ann Womack, Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry, Pam Tillis, Terri Clark, Suzy Bogguss, and John Michael Montgomery, as well as contemporary stars like Chris Janson, Drew Baldridge, and Ashland Craft.
