Honey Ryder
Country Pop Band
Honey Ryder are a British country-pop and Americana band whose music blends Nashville-inspired songwriting with folk-rock influences, rich harmonies and memorable melodies. Formed in London in 2006 and led by singer Lindsay O'Mahony, the group first found chart success with their 2009 debut album Rising Up, which produced two UK Top 40 singles, Numb and Fly Away. Their sound has often drawn comparisons with Fleetwood Mac and Lady A, combining the storytelling traditions of country music with an accessible British pop sensibility.

The band's country credentials grew with their second album, Marley's Chains (2012), and its follow-up, Born in a Bottle (2014), both shaped by time spent writing and recording in Nashville. Collaborations with acclaimed songwriters including Tom Douglas, Rivers Rutherford and Blair Daly helped establish Honey Ryder's transatlantic sound. Alongside appearances at C2C: Country to Country, the Isle of Wight Festival and Cornbury, the band have received support from BBC Radio 2, including Bob Harris, and earned nominations at the British Country Music Awards.

Now featuring Lindsay O'Mahony, guitarists Jason Huxley and Matt Bishop, and vocalist Sara Eker, Honey Ryder continue to develop their distinctive blend of country, Americana and melodic folk-rock. Their fourth album, Blood Red Moon, marks another chapter in their journey, with the band embracing a direct connection with fans through their own Honey Ryder Heartbeat community. For UK country music audiences, Honey Ryder represent an established homegrown group whose music bridges the gap between classic Nashville influences and contemporary British songwriting.
