Ian Prowse is a musician from Liverpool, England, who has been making songs for over three decades. He is best known as the leader of the bands Pele and Amsterdam, as well as a solo artist. His music combines elements of folk, rock, pop and country, with influences from Irish and Celtic traditions.

He has released 11 albums and several singles, including the anthemic “Does This Train Stop on Merseyside?”, which was praised by John Peel and Elvis Costello. He has also collaborated with artists such as Christy Moore, Miles Hunt, Damien Dempsey and Ian McNabb.

He is a passionate performer who tours regularly across the UK and Europe, captivating audiences with his voice and guitar. He is also a supporter of various social causes, such as anti-racism, anti-fascism and anti-war movement
