John Hollier & The Rêverie
Americana Band
John Hollier & The Rêverie are fast becoming one of the most compelling new forces in Americana‑leaning country rock, bringing a fiery blend of Louisiana soul, alt‑country grit and Springsteen‑esque intensity to stages across the US — and soon, the UK. Raised on a crawfish farm in rural French‑Cajun country, Hollier’s musical spark ignited early, performing with his brother at church and family gatherings. “That’s where the initial kind of candle burn began to happen for me, where I started to feel like music was my thing,” he recalls.

Their latest album Rainmaker marks a defining moment for the band — a record built not on studio polish, but on the raw electricity of their live show. Hollier brought his touring band, The Rêverie, straight into the studio to capture the chemistry they’d honed on the road. “The live show is where I feel we’ve been able to really latch on to an identity… This new record is a true representation of the past two years,” he says. The album’s standout single, “Somewhere Down the Road,” has already become a calling card, its thunderous groove and restless lyricism embodying the band’s search for clarity and purpose amid the grind of chasing a dream.
For UK country fans drawn to artists who blur the lines between roots, rock and soul, John Hollier & The Rêverie offer something both familiar and thrillingly new. Their sound channels the heartland punch of Needtobreathe and the emotional weight of Nathaniel Rateliff, while remaining deeply rooted in Hollier’s Cajun heritage. With Rainmaker on the horizon and a live show built on “pure chemistry, energy, and some magic,” as Hollier puts it, the band are poised to make a powerful impression on audiences far beyond Nashville.
With the impending album release in March 2026, the band is planning to hit the road in Spring 2026 across the US & Europe.
