Kane Brown is a country music singer and songwriter who rose to fame through social media. He was born in 1993 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to a white mother and a Black father. He grew up listening to R&B, but switched to country after winning a talent show in high school with a Chris Young song. Brown released the single ‘One Mississippi’ in late 2021, followed by ‘Whiskey Sour’ and ‘Like I Love Country Music’ in 2022.
