Kiefer Sutherland

Country Americana Singer

Kiefer Sutherland will be instantly recognisable to most as the award-winning star of the hit series 24, as well as the star of countless indellible big screen hits such as Flatliners, Young Guns, Stand By Me and The Lost Boys.

It was while starring as the perpetually imperiled Jack Bauer in Fox’s ground-breaking 24 that Sutherland made his first foray into the music business. Alongside friend Jude Cole (formerly of British power pop greats The Records), Sutherland founded the Ironworks label, soon to be home to Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith and US alt-rockers Lifehouse.

Bitten by the music bug, Sutherland followed in the very similar boot tracks of contemporaries Kevin Costner and Jeff Bridges and started making his own wholly American music with the Kiefer Sutherland Band. The outfit released their twangy debut Down In A Hole – produced by Cole – in 2016 and toured around small venues in the US.

His second album, Reckless & Me, came out in 2019 and found Sutherland refining his dusty, heartland sound with a well-honed set of broken-hearted ballads and countrified rockers.

Bloor Street

In 2022 he released Bloor Street, an album that navigates a range of emotions, from romance to nostalgia, and from heartache to imaginative fictional narratives, showcasing his storytelling prowess and musical versatility.
