Larry Fleet
Singer-Songwriter
Larry Fleet, a rising star in the country music scene, hails from White Bluff, Tennessee. Born into a musical family, Fleet's great-grandfather and great-uncle were members of a bluegrass band called the Happy Two, which he joined at the tender age of six. His great-uncle taught him to play the guitar and fiddle, sparking a lifelong passion for music. Fleet's early exposure to bluegrass and gospel music laid the foundation for his diverse musical influences, which include Otis Redding, Willie Nelson, Marvin Gaye, and Merle Haggard.
Fleet's journey to stardom began in earnest when country singer Jake Owen discovered him performing cover songs at a wedding in 2017. This led to Fleet opening for Owen and eventually competing on the USA Network's singing competition, Real Country, where he placed second. His performance caught the attention of Big Loud Records, and he signed with the label in 2019. Fleet's debut single, "Where I Find God," co-written with Nashville-based songwriter Connie Harrington, entered the Billboard Country Airplay charts and resonated deeply with listeners.
Since then, Fleet has released three albums: Workin' Hard (2019), Stack of Records (2021), and Earned It (2023). His music, characterized by a blend of country, soul, and honky-tonk, has earned him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim. Fleet's authentic storytelling and heartfelt performances continue to captivate audiences, solidifying his place as a prominent figure in the country music industry.
