Layla Rose is a singer/songwriter from the vibrant shores of Gibraltar who moved to Nashville, TN because of her passion for singing and writing country music. Music has been Layla’s constant companion since her childhood, having grown up in a musical household. She began weaving her tales into song at five years old, laying the foundation for a lifelong love affair with lyricism.
Her sound is a fusion of influences, marrying the soulful storytelling of modern country with the rich warmth of the Mediterranean. It's a blend that reflects her heritage and journey, resonating with listeners on both sides of the Atlantic. With each chord and lyric, she strives to capture the essence of life, love, and the human experience.
Layla grew up playing acoustic and full band shows in Gibraltar as well giving multiple performances in the south of Spain and England. She has also been featured on local radio and television broadcasting stations in three European countries. Her first EP – Postcards, was released in 2018 and she has continued to release music ever since. After moving to Nashville, she has had the pleasure of performing in multiple venues, writers rounds and local radio stations in the Middle Tennessee area as well as having recorded multiple singles at Nashville’s iconic Blackbird Studio.
