Lee Thomas Miller

Lee Thomas Miller is an American country music songwriter and occasional record producer. He was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky and earned a Bachelor degree in Music Theory/Composition from Eastern Kentucky University.
He has written seven number one country hits, including “The Impossible” by Joe Nichols, “You’re Gonna Miss This” by Trace Adkins, and “In Color” by Jamey Johnson. He has also received three Grammy nominations and won CMA and ACM awards for Song of the Year. He is the former president of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and has advocated for songwriters’ rights before Congress. Some of his other notable songs are “People Loving People” by Garth Brooks, “Perfect Storm” by Brad Paisley, and “Whiskey and You” by Chris Stapleton.
