Lindsay Ell

Lindsay Ell is a Canadian-American country pop singer, songwriter, guitarist and television personality. She was born in Calgary, Alberta on March 20, 1989 and started playing guitar and writing songs at a young age. She was discovered by Randy Bachman, who produced her first album Consider This in 2006. She moved to Nashville in 2011 and signed with Stoney Creek Records, an imprint of Broken Bow Records.
Ell has released two studio albums, The Project in 2017 and Heart Theory in 2020, as well as several EPs and singles. She has collaborated with artists such as Brantley Gilbert, Keith Urban, and Sugarland. She has also received multiple nominations and awards, including a Canadian Screen Award nomination for hosting Canada's Got Talent, a CMA Award nomination for Musical Event of the Year, and a JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year.
Ell is not only a talented musician, but also a philanthropist and an advocate for survivors of sexual violence. She founded the Make You Movement, a charitable organization that supports organizations that help youth who have experienced trauma. She also shared her own story of surviving sexual assault in her song "Make You" and in a documentary called Lindsay Ell: Unfiltered.
