Maria Jordan is a UK country/Americana artist, songwriter, and performer known for her distinctive blend of modern country and pop influences. Frustrated by the lack of industry support for country music in the UK, she took matters into her own hands, touring the US to promote her debut album Landslide. Inspired by her time in Nashville, Maria founded One Night In Nashville, a live music show designed to bring the authentic honky-tonk experience to UK audiences. The show features a six-piece band performing classic and modern country hits, replicating the energy of Downtown Nashville. Through this project, Maria has helped to grow the UK country music scene, introducing audiences to the storytelling and musicianship that define the genre.
Beyond her work with One Night In Nashville, Maria continues to write and release music, collaborating with industry professionals such as producer John Kettle and songwriter Robert Ellis Orrell. Her album Debris showcases her songwriting craft, tackling themes of love, loss, and social issues.
