Mike Ward is a country singer from Salford, England, who rose to fame as a finalist on the second series of The Voice UK in 2013. He was coached by Sir Tom Jones and impressed the judges and the audience with his smooth vocals and authentic style. He sang songs by country legends like Keith Whitley, Garth Brooks, and Elvis Presley, as well as contemporary artists like Bruno Mars and Paloma Faith.

Mike Ward was born on 14 December 1990 to Julie Berry and Michael Ward. He has four siblings and Irish Traveller roots on his father's side. He is also a distant cousin of The X Factor winner Shayne Ward. He started singing at a young age and won a talent show in high school with a Chris Young song. He auditioned for The Voice UK after his mother applied for him .

After The Voice UK, Mike Ward continued to pursue his music career and released several singles, such as "When I Was Your Man", "Picking Up the Pieces", and "Don't Close Your Eyes". He also performed at various events and festivals, such as the British Country Music Awards, the Buckle and Boots Festival, and the Country to Country Festival. He is currently working on his debut album
