Miranda Lambert is one of the most acclaimed and successful country singers of her generation. She has released eight albums and 35 singles, and has won numerous awards and honors, including two Grammy Awards, 35 Academy of Country Music Awards, and 13 Country Music Association Awards. She is also the most awarded artist in ACM history.
Lambert was born on November 10, 1983, in Longview, Texas, and grew up in Lindale, Texas. Her parents were private investigators who sometimes took in abused women and children. She also has a younger brother named Luke. She started singing at a young age, mainly influenced by her father’s country music collection. She learned to play guitar at 17 and began writing her own songs.
Lambert got her first taste of fame when she auditioned for the first season of Nashville Star in 2003. She finished third on the show and impressed the judges and viewers with her fiery personality and voice. She signed a record deal with Epic Records and released her debut album, Kerosene, in 2005. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and selling over one million copies in the US. It also featured four top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart: “Me and Charlie Talking”, “Bring Me Down”, “Kerosene”, and “New Strings”.
Lambert continued to establish herself as a leading female artist in country music with her subsequent albums: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007), Revolution (2009), Four the Record (2011), Platinum (2014), The Weight of These Wings (2016), Wildcard (2019), and The Marfa Tapes (2021). She also explored different genres and influences, such as rock, pop, folk, and blues. She collaborated with artists like Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean, and Elle King. She also performed at various events and shows, such as the Grammy Awards, the CMA Awards, and the Super Bowl.

Lambert is not only a talented singer but also a devoted wife and animal lover. She married fellow country singer Blake Shelton in 2011 but they divorced in 2015. She then married former NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin in 2019. She has several dogs, cats, horses, and other animals that she rescued or adopted. She is also a philanthropist and activist who supports various causes and charities, such as animal rights, domestic violence prevention, education, and disaster relief.
