Niko Moon, born in Tyler, Texas, is an American country pop singer and songwriter. He relocated to Douglasville, Georgia, with his family when he was ten years old. Moon's musical journey began with his father, a truck driver and part-time musician, who introduced him to artists like John Prine and Patty Griffin. Moon started playing drums and later taught himself to play guitar by watching instructional videos online. He initially gained recognition as a songwriter, co-writing hits for artists such as Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts, and Morgan Wallen.
In 2016, Moon formed the electronic side project Sir Rosevelt with Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti, which produced the track "The Bravest" used during the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Moon signed with RCA Nashville in 2019 and released his solo debut single "Good Time," which became a major hit. His debut album, also titled "Good Time," was released in 2021 and included popular tracks like "Drunk Over You" and "Way Back." Moon's music blends country, pop, R&B, hip-hop, and reggae, creating a unique and eclectic sound.
Moon's latest release, the EP "These Are The Nights," was unveiled on November 22, 2024. The four-song collection captures the joy, simplicity, and spontaneity of life on the road, offering fans a feel-good soundtrack for life’s most meaningful moments. The EP includes tracks like "Money Can’t Buy," "Summer Don’t Go," "Head Above Water," and "Night’s Still Young," each reflecting Moon's appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. Moon continues to be a prominent figure in the country music scene, known for his feel-good, positive vibes and his commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
