Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is a three-piece American country blues trio from Brown County, Indiana. Known for their energetic performances, they have played up to 250 dates per year at venues ranging from bars to festivals since 2006. The band consists of Reverend Peyton on guitar and vocals, his wife, 'Washboard' Breezy Peyton on washboard, and Jacob 'The Snakob' Powell on drums.
Their music is deeply rooted in traditional country blues, with influences from artists like T-Model Ford, Robert Belfour, and David 'Honeyboy' Edwards. Reverend Peyton's fingerstyle guitar playing is widely acclaimed, earning him a reputation as a leading figure in the genre.
In February 2025, the band released their latest album, Honeysuckle, produced and recorded by Reverend Peyton and mixed by six-time Grammy winner Vance Powell. The album features collaborations with The McCrary Sisters, Billy Branch, Michael Cleveland, and Colton Crawford. Honeysuckle showcases a return to their roots with a mix of original and classic blues songs.
