Change is in the air for award-winning artist Robert Vincent.
The Scouse singer/songwriter will release his fourth studio album in 2023 and its music is riding the winds of change in the air. “The songs are less traditional sounding,” he reveals. “I’m learning how to lower my barriers and have made a more personal album than ever before.”
Robert Vincent is an award-winning English singer-songwriter who performs in the Americana genre. He was born in 1981 in Crosby, a town near Liverpool, and grew up listening to Johnny Cash, The Beatles and Pink Floyd. He started his musical career in 2000 and released several singles and EPs before his debut album Life in Easy Steps in 2013. His next albums were I'll Make The Most of My Sins in 2017 and In This Town You're Owned in 2020, the latter produced by Ethan Johns. He has been praised for his honest and authentic lyrics, his distinctive voice and his blend of country, blues and 1970s English music . He won the UK Album of the Year at the 2021 UK Americana Awards for In This Town You're Owned and was also named UK Artist of the Year at the same event. He has been described as "the scouse Springsteen" by Andrew Harrison, editor of Q magazine.
