Sammie Soravia
Singer-Songwriter
Raised in the rugged beauty of Pembrokeshire, Wales, Sammie Soravia was born into a world steeped in rhythm and grace—her father an Italian drummer and singer-songwriter, her mother a professional ballet dancer. Music was her first language, and from the moment she could talk, she was singing. Influenced early on by legends like The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and James Taylor, Sammie developed a deep love for storytelling through song.
Though life took her far from home, living in Australia only deepened her love for country and folk, and she quietly continued writing lyrics and crafting melodies. The Covid pandemic became a turning point—it gave her the space to learn guitar and finally bring her songs to life. With a delicate, emotive voice that perfectly suits acoustic country, Sammie began recording original material, pouring years of lived experience into heartfelt lyrics. Her debut single, a cover of It’s Gonna Be A Long Night, reached number 11 on the UK iTunes Singer-Songwriter chart, a milestone she credits to the unwavering support of her local community.
Now back in the UK and fully embracing her artistry, Sammie is releasing a series of self-penned songs that reflect the highs, lows, and quiet revelations of her journey. Her track Take Care of You—a poignant ballad about the moment love must be let go—marks the beginning of this new chapter. With each release, Sammie hopes to offer listeners the same comfort and connection that music has always given her. And if one of her songs ever finds its way into a Nicholas Sparks film, well, that would be a dream come true.
