Solon Holt

Singer-Songwriter

Solon Holt is a musical old soul with a contemporary edge, blending gospel roots, bluegrass textures, and country storytelling into a sound that’s both timeless and fresh. Raised in Tyler, Texas, Holt’s musical journey began in the pews of People’s Missionary Baptist Church, where he played guitar in marathon worship sessions that taught him the power of musical connection. With a classical pianist mother and a blues-playing father, Holt grew up immersed in a rich tapestry of genres—from jazz and delta blues to Appalachian folk—each shaping his instinctive, emotionally resonant style.

After forming bands in high school and college, including the crowd-favourite Frog House at Ole Miss, Holt’s breakout moment came via a viral TikTok performance that drew industry attention and led him to Nashville. There, he honed his craft on Music Row, playing barstool sets at Loser’s Bar & Grill and studying the anatomy of great songs. His approach is deeply intentional: writing daily, dissecting chord progressions, and chasing the kind of lyrical truth that defines country music’s best storytellers.

Now signed to Universal Music Publishing Nashville and making his UK debut as part of Jordan Davis’ Ain’t Enough Road Tour in 2026, Holt is poised to connect with new audiences across the pond. His live performances are marked by warmth, authenticity, and a deep respect for the genre’s traditions. Whether backed by pedal steel or stripped down to acoustic guitar, Holt’s music invites listeners into a space where emotion meets craft—and where every note feels like home.
