Tanner Usrey is a rising star in the country music scene, with a distinctive sound that blends southern rock, Americana, and folk influences. Born and raised in Prosper, Texas, Usrey grew up singing along to Alan Jackson and George Strait, and later discovered the likes of Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Whiskey Myers. He started playing guitar and writing songs in high school, inspired by the Texas country artists he saw live, such as Wade Bowen and Brandon Rhyder.
He released his debut EP Medicine Man in 2019, which featured the hit songs “Come Back Down” and “Beautiful Lies”. He followed it up with the SÕL Sessions EP in 2021, which included the song “The Light” that was featured in the finale of the popular TV show Yellowstone.
He signed with Atlantic Records in 2023 and released the singles “Take Me Home” and “Give It Some Time”, which showcased his honest and heartfelt storytelling and his gritty and energetic sound. He has also shared the stage with artists such as Shane Smith & the Saints, Paul Cauthen, and Ella Langley. He is known for his captivating live shows, where he and his band deliver a powerful and engaging performance that leaves the audience wanting more. He is one of the rising stars of the country music scene and has amassed tens of millions of streams on various platforms. He is currently working on his debut album and touring across the country.
