Country Rock Band
The Castellows are an American neotraditional country music trio consisting of sisters Eleanor, Lily, and Powell Balkcom. Born in Georgetown, Quitman County, Georgia, the sisters moved to Nashville in 2023 and signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville and Warner Records. Their first EP, "A Little Goes a Long Way," was released on February 9, 2024, and their latest EP, "Alabama Stone," was released on December 6, 2024. The trio began attracting attention in 2022 through posting cover song performances to their Instagram and TikTok accounts.
The Castellows' journey to fame began with their debut single "No. 7 Road," released in October 2023, followed by a cover of Leon Everette's "Hurricane" in November 2023. Their song "I Know It'll Never End" was nominated for the CMT digital-first performance of the year at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. The sisters had not considered a career in music until March 2023, when they started receiving interest from the music industry.
Today, The Castellows continue to captivate audiences with their unique blend of traditional country sounds and heartfelt lyrics. Their debut EP and subsequent singles, including those from "A Little Goes a Long Way," have established them as rising stars in the country music scene. With their strong family bond and shared passion for music, The Castellows are poised to make a lasting impact on the genre.
