Tom Tikka

Tom Tikka is a Finnish singer-songwriter and musician who has been active in the music industry since the late 1990s. He is best known for his work with the rock band Carmen Gray, which he co-founded with his brother Lappe in 2000. Carmen Gray achieved international success with several Top 5 hits, such as Lost In My Mind, Gates Of Loneliness, and Life Can Be Beautiful. The band also won several awards, including the Emma Award for Best Rock Album in 2007.
After Carmen Gray disbanded in 2013, Tom Tikka pursued a solo career under the name Tom Tikka & The Missing Hubcaps. He released his debut solo album, This Is My Happy Face, in 2020, which showcased his versatile songwriting skills and influences from various genres, such as pop, rock, country, and blues. The album received positive reviews from critics and fans alike, and spawned singles like Working Class Voodoo, Driving Me Insane, and Heart’s on Fire.
Tom Tikka is also a multi-award winning composer and producer, who has written songs for other artists, such as Antti Railio, Saara Aalto, and Anna Abreu. He has collaborated with major labels, such as Sony/BMG, Universal, and Warner, and has been recognized for his contributions to the Finnish music scene. He released his second solo album, Better Man, in 2022 and has just announced a new album entitled Raindows and Dead Flowers, which has so far spawned to UK hits. Tom Tikka lives in Helsinki with his wife and two children.
