Zac Brown, born Zachry Alexander Brown in Atlanta, Georgia, is a celebrated musician, songwriter, and the charismatic frontman of the Zac Brown Band. Raised in Dahlonega, Georgia, as the eleventh of twelve children, Zac developed a love for music early on, learning classical guitar at the age of eight. His passion for music grew as he performed solo gigs and country-pop covers during his teenage years, inspired by artists like James Taylor. Zac's formative years also included working as a camp counselor, an experience that later inspired him to establish Camp Southern Ground, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and veterans.
In 2002, Zac Brown formed the Zac Brown Band, which quickly gained recognition for its unique blend of country, rock, and Southern influences. The band's debut album, The Foundation, released in 2008, featured the chart-topping hit Chicken Fried and earned widespread acclaim. Over the years, the Zac Brown Band has released multiple platinum-certified albums, including You Get What You Give and Uncaged, and collaborated with renowned artists such as Alan Jackson, Jimmy Buffett, and Dave Grohl.
